How a match is decided
Every match runs on our servers. Your browser sends moves and shows you the state of the table; it never decides an outcome. Cards, dice, spins and flips are drawn on the server, and the result is settled there in one step, into the same ledger that holds your $ balance.
Your stake leaves your balance before play starts, so the money at the table is always real. It is the same amount on every game: the stake you picked, and never more than that. Mines and Hi-Lo show a multiplier that climbs while you play.
Match records
Every settled real-money match keeps a record of the game, the stake, every move with its server timestamp, any forfeit and whether it was a disconnect, the multiplier reached and the settlement for each seat. The record is stored with the match.
Settlement
At the end of a match the panel under the board shows the pot, the 1% entry fee and the net for each seat. Match history in your account menu lists your recent matches with their stake, the entry fee, the multiplier reached and your net. For questions about a match, email [email protected].
Clocks and disconnects
Each decision has a clock. When it runs out a default move is applied for the seat that did not act, and the log says so. When a player disconnects the table pauses and the seat is held for a grace window. A player who returns inside it resumes. A player who does not forfeits the seat.
Rugpull plays out on the server whether or not you are connected. Disconnect forfeits are recorded on the match.
The rake
There is no rake. The winning seats take the whole pot at settlement. The house does not hold a seat, does not deal itself a hand and has no stake in who wins. Every game here is played against the other people at the table, and the money moves between those seats. A push refunds every seat in full. If we ever introduce a rake, the rate will be stated on this page and in the terms before it applies to any match, and the amount taken will be itemised in the match-end breakdown.
The entry fee
Each player pays an entry fee of 1% of their own stake, with no cap, taken out of the stake when it is locked: a $5.00 stake puts $4.95 into the pot, and the pot is what the winning seats are paid. A raise accepted during a match pays the same 1% on the amount added, taken out of it the same way. The fee is charged only when a match reaches a result. A match that is cancelled, abandoned before play, pushed or refunded for any reason returns the fee with the stake, in the same refund. The rate is stated on the play page before you commit a stake, and the fee you paid is itemised in the match-end breakdown and listed in your match history.
Collusion
Accounts that share a network address cannot sit together at a public table. They may play each other heads-up or in a private room; those matches are recorded, and money that moves one way between them is reviewed. Matches showing other signs of shared control are flagged for review.
